Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

About Our Family Research
Hail! Here wil begin our journey into the past and the mystery of our origins. I shall begin my accounting with the information and documentation that my mother has passed on to me. Having been told that we are of French, Scotch and Irish descent, I am interested to find when and where my ancesters fit into the histories of these nations. I am also Catholic, which means universal. So I am also interested in ancestery from an eschatologigal perspective. Just how do we fit into the story of salvation history? Though this seems no mystery at all to me, I expect that clarification will proceed from this endevor. I had noticed, on my way here, that one of the ultimate goals of geneology is to prove that the human race is really one big family. In the name of that universal truth, which is the basis of all relationships of men with God and with each other, I offer this work for the glory of God and the redemption of Man. Love, Cathy
