I have been researching John Reginald McLean who was born in Nova Scotia in 1829. He married Evelyn Cameron Holmes and they had 12 children. Frank Wellington was one of those children and he moved to Morenci, Arizona. John was a gold mine engineer and worked at a mine in Sherbrooke. He is buried in Antigonish, and died 1891. I have found very little about his parents or the whereabouts of the other children. One brother Milton moved to California. Gordon married a Bessie Merriel and they had Lorna McLean who married Lawrence Marshall. Frank is my husbands grandfather and he married Elizabeth Drees in 1904. They had three children Elizabeth, Marjorie and Donald. Donald married Betty Yeakle and they had two children Richard and Sue. Richard is my husband of 37 years. We have 5 children, all married with children of their own. I am very interested in finding the ancestors of both John and Evelyn. I understand he came from the Isle of Mull of the line of Duart. I have yet to find the link.
