In 2001, I managed to contact my father 'Arthur Cecil George McLoughlin', my mother and father split up when I was 2 years old(1945) and unfortunately I had no contact with my father since. I managed to contact my father in July 2001 to be told that he had died on the 12 June 2001, only one month before which was very disappointing to me. Since then I have managed to locate on my father's side four new cousins who have made very welcome. I also found out that my father was born in China in 1911, that he was educated in St Aloyuis College in London, he was in the RAF during the 2nd World War as a War Photographer, serving in UK, N.Africa and Italy. After the war he was a Cinema Manager, but unfortunately about 1957 when his mother died he lost contact with both sides of our families.
My research into my father's side of the family introduced me to the Family Tree system.
