My grandfather was the son of Herman McLure and his wife. They
also had one other son. Herman and his wife made a life for
their family in Bartlett, Tn. The house that I was raised in
for part of my life, was the house in which they built. After their deaths, my grandparents Raymond Eugene and Jimmy Sue McLure moved into the house. Raymond McLure served in the armed forces at some point in his life, and I believe he was in WWII. They had 2 biological sons and one son from my grandmother's previous marriage. Raymond McLure adopted this child too. My father was Raymond McLure's eldest natural son,Anthony Raymond. The youngest son was Timothy McLure. The adopted child of this union was Jimmy McLure. Anthony had three children of his own, Toni, Anthony Raymond II, and Jody McLure. Timothy McLure had two children, Clint and Whitney. Jimmy McLure had two children also, Dana and April. The next set of children are blossoming at this point and I do not feel that reference to them is neccessary!
