William Wheller arrived in Geelong,Port Phillip,now Victoria in 1853. He travelled with his two sisters and their families - Anne and John Windsor and Caroline and George Windsor and daughter Emily(she was born at sea). They left London 22 Mar 1853 and arrived Aug 1853 aboard the ship Asia (523 tons). William was born at Paradise near Taunton, Somerset. Paradise was in the Parish of Burnham (on the sea), west Somerset on Bridgewater Bay. Ref: Bartholemews Gazeteer. William married Nancy Susan Catterson at her fathers residence in Little Scotland, now called Geelong West,on 8 Dec 1856. Nancy was born at Grimsby, Lincolnshire and came to Port Phillip with her parents and sister Martha. They left Liverpool on 21 June 1853 and arrived Melbourne, Port Phillip on 3 Oct 1853,on the ship Charles. Walter Perry Wheller a son of Nancy and William Wheller married Elizabeth Anne Horwood dau.of Rosanna and John Horwood.
