I have always wondered about who my ancestors are. I don't remember very much about my family as i went to live with a foster family when i was around 5 or 6 years old. I have been able to gather some information from a cousin that lives in Illinois as well from several other family members who have created a family website at myfamily.com. In june of this year we had the 2nd annual mcmillian reuinion at the Unity Baptist church in Pendleton County Kentucky. I was not able to attend the reunion but i have learned a lot about my mcmillian ancestors from many who attended that day. I am a descendent of Thomas McMillian as well as being related to the great frontiersman&statesman Daniel Boone. My cousin Roger is in the process of researching the Manne side of my family tree. My grandfather Edward Charles Manne as well as my mother Shirley Manne McMillian&Harry Raymond McMillian have all gone before me but they have left behind a great legacy. As i continue to research my family tree i hope to be able to uncover lots of information about my ancestors. The name McMillian is actually derived from MacMillan which is scottish. Our family tree is made up of McMillian;McMillen;Duncan;Black;Fornash;Dunne;and several other names i can't remember. I will continue to research the McMillian ancestors.
