My Name is JAmes William McPherson- I am the son of JAmes Edward McPherson. I was Born in Ft. Resolution N.W.T.mar 7/47. My father was born in Dauphin Manitoba in 1908. He had two siblings Sisters MAe and Phyllis. They are all deceased now , my father having passed away on April 8/1987. My mother was Flora Christy Weisner and she was born in Sydney Nova Scotia in 1912, one of thirteen children, all of whom are now deceased. My Grandfather was Alexander Rufus McPherson and he was born in Ontario I believe. He is interred in FAust Alberta having passed away around 1963-64. He was married to a woman named Fisher from the DAuphin Manitoba area, not sure of her first name, possibly MAe.
My Grandfather Alexander had a brother named Ira McPherson of whom I know little about.My FAther was briefly married to a woman named Nell Lomar. They had one child- Morley Edw. Lomar McPherson. I am trying without success to fill in blanks about this part of my family. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
