About Our Family Research

I STARTED THIS A FEW YEARS AGO WHEN MY FATHER WAS DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER. HE WAS IN THE HOSPITAL ALOT AND WE WOULD TALK FOR HOURS. MOSTLY ABOUT FAMILY. FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE IT DAWNED ON ME THAT MY DAD WAS OLD AND WOULD NOT BE WITH US FOREVER. HE WAS SUCH A GREAT MAN AND MY GRANDCHILDREN WOULD NEVER KNOW HIM OR HEAR HIM REMINISCE ABOUT FAMILY THAT WAS LONG GONE. MY MOM'S HEALTH WASN'T MUCH BETTER AND I WONDERED WHO WOULD BE THERE TO ANSWER OUR QUESTIONS ABOUT WHERE WE CAME FROM. THAT'S WHEN WE DECIDED TO DO A TREE. MY DAD HAS PASSED NOW AND MY MOM DOSEN'T HAVE LONG TO BE WITH US. I HAVEN'T GOTTEN AS MUCH DONE AS I WOULD LIKE BUT WHAT I HAVE IS MY DECLARATION OF LOVE FOR MY MOM AND DAD. IT IS TRULY THE LEGACY OF THAT, I WANT HANDED DOWN TO MY CHILDREN, THEIR CHILDREN AND ALL THE GENERATIONS TO COME.
