I have been searching for the parents of Thomas Jefferson Worster now for 30 years. In some records he uses only the name Jefferson or Jeff Worster. He was said to be b.1818 in So. Berwick, ME. He has a half brother, Storer Nason, b. 1812, also in So. Berwick, ME. Storer's father was Edward (per Storer's death Cert.)but no mother's name listed. Storer married Sarah Dearborn and they had one child Fannie Mae. Their families lived in Manchester, NH for all their lives. Fannie m. unknown Walker.
As I was told, Jeff's father died when he was about 4 yrs. old. He went to live with an "uncle" in Somersworth, NH at an early age. He learned the trade of stone mason which he used all his life.
Jefferson m. Anna Lufkin in 1849 in Yarmouth, ME. and lived in Somersworth,NH. Two children born there, George and Franklin. George died at about 1 year of age.
The 1860 NH census shows Jeff, Anna and Frank living in Hanover, NH. I am told that some time about 1862 or 1863 Jeff followed his trade to Marietta, OH and settled there. Jeff died 1899 and Anna died 1896. They had a number of children.,
