This web page is available to help anyone working on the McRae and Badgley family lines. My line starts with myself and moves to my father Cecil Ellis McRae, to his father Robert Duncan McRae, then to his Father Alexander McRae B. 1845 in Scotland. Alexander moved to Canada as a baby and his mother died on the ship. (name unknown) They buried her off the coast on an island. I have a Duncan McRae and his wife, (2nd. wife I hope) spotted up in Stormont Co. Ontario Canada that fits the age and time frame of my Alexander. I just have not been able to prove the connection yet. My mother is Vena Catherine Badgley and her father is Alvatis Adrian Badgley. The Badgley line is heavily documented from his father Alvatis Marion, to Clark and on clear back to Anthony Badgley and wife Elizabeth (Thorne ?) in the 1660's.
