McSween's repreent a rich cultural mixture of Cherokee Indian from the Virgian Mountains, Irish or Scottish Slave Master from
a the McSweenville Plantation near Durham, North Caroolina, and
probably some carribean ancestors (Panamain? or Jamaican?)
The McSween's migrated from North Carolina, due to severe racial harrasment because of Willard and Margaret's interracial marriage.
The McSween family were successful building contractors in North Carolina. They all became professional business executives, ntrepeuners, multi-dwelling owner/landlords in Hasrlem, the
Bronx and Queens, after settling in New York City in the early 1940's.
Today the McSweem's have spread out all over the globe (galaxy?)
This Family Tree represent an initial attempt to identify, locate, document, connect with and communicate with all of the nuts that fell out of this strong multi-Cultural "Rainbow Tree of Life."
