My family search started 25 years ago, when my great grandmother Meek told me we were related to Joeseph Layayette Meek the Mountain Man that allowed Oregona and the Northwest to become part of the States. As Joe too and many others after him were interested in his genealogy, we continue to search and in the process have discovered many other family members.
