I'm researching the Meek(s) family which had the "s" added to our family name in the early 1920's because my greatgrandfather, John Franklin Meek(s) send a letter to the family members and said that the last name had been changed to "Meeks" in the court. Im also trying to trace my greatgrandmother, Sarah Emma \Hodson\ Meek(s)who died September 11, 1921 in Cincinnati, Hamilton, Ohio. A third line which I'm tracing is my mother's father Floyd Lester Beckner born June 9, 1899 near Pendleton, Madison, Indiana. I would appreciate any help and would be more than happy to help anyone with their genealogy.
