I have a great, great grandmother Sarah A. Young (Young her 2nd husband) whose first husband was a Baker & killed in the Civil War but no one at present has his first name or any dates. Sarah & Baker had one son John William David Baker born in lynn County, Missouri,Nov. 20,1863 and died March 22, 1925 at his farm NW of Alva Ok. I don't have any info of Sarah's 2nd husband but I know from obid of J.W.Baker he had 2 1/2 sisters, Ada (who married an Ellis)& Alice Young (Alice married a Lineberry or Tineberry) and 1 1/2 brother G.W. Young. At the time of John's death Alice & Sarah lived in Hale Mo. G.W. Young lived in Sacremento, Calif., Ada lived in Los Angeles. John married Josephine Brown, her parents were J.(Joab) G. Brown b. 4-9-1815,d. Aug.5 or 15,1896. And Alice Starner,b.4-9-1823, d. Jan. 24, 1906. Alice & J.G. had 9 children from 1846 to 1866. Alice Starners parents were William Starner,b.in 1803, d. 10-18-1855,Barbary b. 10-1-1800 d. 10-11-1854. I have no info on J.G.Brown's father, his mother's name was Rebecca b.2-14-1784, d. 3-26-1859. I'd really like to hear from some one who may have info on Sarah Young's first husband Baker.
