I have never done much research of my family tree til now. I am very interested in finding whatever I can. I know that my family grew up around the New Marion area. My grandmother Marie Meisberger had eight children. Janet, Doris, John, Robert, Marilyn, Nancy, Mary Ann and Sharon. She was a teacher and played piano in area churches and gave lessons in her Versailles home. My aunt Doris died before I was born. My grandfather died also before I was born. My grandmother was very special to me. She taught me piano at an early age and music is a very special part of my life because of her. I have found a Peter Meisberger in the Family Archives #354 Passenger and Immigration Index, 2000 Edition but have no idea where and even if he belongs to my family tree. Also I could not find any matches in the 1900 census, so maybe that means that my family did not migrate here until after 1900. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
