I just recently started researching my ancestors for fun. Much of my info is from relatives who started long before I did and the rest is info I have found online. Any corrections or updates are appreciated.

I am still trying to locate the gravesite of Frederick Loring - he died in Los Angeles (city or county?) CA in 1856. Frederick came over from France as a bugler for Lafayette during the American Revolution. He was at the Battle of Yorktown under Count de Grasse and also fought in the War of 1812 under Major Clarkson at the Battle of River Raisin.

The Meinerts go back to 3 brothers who came over from Germany with a little info about their parents and grandparents.

The Rowans go back to a James Sr. who came over from Ireland or Scotland.

The Bradleys go back to a Mathew who came over from Ireland.
