I am from Jamaica. Mandeville, Manchester to be exact. I went to Manchester High School. But before that, i went to Nazareth All Age, then i got my Common Entrance Examination, and that was when i started Manchester High School in September of 1996. I had a few friends when i was in Jamaica. Most people did not like me however! I could not help people hating me because i looked better than them. Anyway, i moved to the USA when i was 14 years old. I hated America when i first moved here. I graduated from high school when i was 17. I started college in 2002. I have met some really cool friends. My best friends are Morica Hyman (Jamaica)Othencia Williams, and Peta-Gaye Johnson.
I have recently changed my name from Shelly to Dhakiya Jinaki (Tha-kee-yah) Jeh-nah-keh! I did it because i am taking on my African names. My names mean intelligent and proud, two words i think strongly describes me.
