I am searching for information on Peter Michaels from an artical about his death on 2/13/1901 in the Niagara Falls Gazette I found out that he was born 59 years earlier 1842 in Germany and emigrated to the states at 35 so about 1877. He settled in Buffalo New York.He was married to a woman named Margaret they had 11 children, Michael Majchrzak,Fred Michaels,Joseph Majchrzak, Stanley F. Michaels, Martin, John Majchrzak, Felix, Victoria, Agnus, Valeria and Elizabeth.Then moved to the Falls about 3 years before his death. He ran the race track farm and was killed in an accident on the buffalo trolley cars near East Falls street in Niagara Falls. Margaret remarried John Nagi and had one more son Roman J.Nagi. Margaret's maiden name could be Huff Hoffman or Hockman. In Romans obituary it says Huff but other obituaries say Hockman and family says Hoffman. The name Majchrzak how it came about we are not sure. The sections of Buffalo and the Falls they lived in was prodomanantly Polish.
