Recently located my "long-lost First Cousin-Once-Removed", Randy Rider of Fort Wayne, IN. We've discovered we have the same GREAT GRANDPARENTS: LANHART Charles RIDER and SUSIE (SAVAGE) RIDER of OHIO.(my mother's dad's parents) We are trying to find info about them and who THEIR parents were and where they were from, etc. The Riders were of German descent.We believe there were TWO Lanhart Riders.The first came over from Bavaria with father EUGENE Rider and sibling BARBARY RIDER and mother MARY. Don't know when or how they arrived in America...
I am also trying to find info about my father's side of the family. Looking for children and great grand children, etc., of FRANK CHARLES or CHARLES FRANK MEREDITH of Anderson, INDIANA. He married GEORGIA BELL THARP of ? ***Haven't gotten any farther back than that :(
Also looking for my father's "missing" siblings, all born in INDIANA between 1900 - 1920: DONALD W. MEREDITH, BERNICE E. MEREDITH, CLETIS MEREDITH, RICHARD MEREDITH, PETER MEREDITH, JEAN MEREDITH....My father was KARL B. MEREDITH (his birthname was "Carroll" but later changed) Although I never knew any of them, I am CERTAIN some of my aunts and uncles listed above had children, which means I have COUSINS out there somewhere, but have NEVER met or heard about them. SURELY HOPE TO ONE DAY!!!!!
