Lewis Clark Metzger (son of George Washington Metzger and Harriet Green) was born February 28, 1903 in Gresham, Mulnomah, Oregon, and died March 05, 1992 in Charmichael, Sacramento, California. He married Anna Naomi Noland on October 09, 1952 in Vancouver, Clark, Washington, daughter of Clarence Augustus Noland and Ona Alene Morgan.

Lewis was married once before to a woman by the name of Marie. Marie had to have her gall bladder removed, and she died on the operating table.
Lewis then married Anna Naomi Noland Gilworth who had seven children from her first marriage to Clyde Gilworth.
Lewis was on nitroglycerine due to heart trouble but it was Altzimer's Disease than eventually took his life.
Lewis was not buried, he was cremated and his ashes were strewn in the Bay.
