She married Lewis Clark Metzger on October 09, 1952 in Vancouver, Clark, Washington, son of George Washington Metzger and Harriet Green.

Anna was married to a man by the name of Clyde Gilworth. Clyde worked on the railroad, and one morning as he left for work, he told Anna that one day he would not be comming home from work. A couple of hours later Clyde's boss knocked on the door with the news Clyde had been hit on the back of the head with a rail-road tie and was gone.
Anna married Lewis and had Merle at the age of 45.
