I am just begging to learn and search my family heritage. I know a little about my fathers side of the Family. I know
only back to my great-grandfather on my fathers side of the family. Yet, know very little on my mother side of the family.
My great grandfather was from Russia. I have checked the wall of honor/Ellis Island and have come up with 3 names. I need to check with my father and see which one it is, and I can then continue with my search for that side of the family. As for my mothers side of the family, it is somewhat difficult and very fustrating to me. My mother is from England and had very little contact with her mother. Her parent/my grandparent were divorced at a very young age. In which this led my mother into foster care and not know much about her family history. I have 3 children and wish to tell them about the heritage. I also woul like to know more about my mother side of the family. I look forward to researching and learning about my family history and look forward to sharing with my siblings and hoping they will join me in my search.
