Casper Miller purchased 540 acres in Rowan County North Carolina in October of 1766. His only US Census appearance is in Rowan County North Carolina in 1790, the first US Census.

Casper Miller was born about 1740. He married Mary Swink and had 3 or 4 boys, Adam, Michael, Jacob and John. He also had daughters with unknown names.

Adam met Hannah Sheets, who was born about 1771, and married her between 27 - 29 MAR 1791 in Rowan County. They had children:

He was a teenager when his father David died in 1865, he remained on the family farm with brothers; Ivy, James, Franklin, and Milton, to help out his mother. Their oldest Son, David Miller Jr., married Mary Taylor, and has sons David and Daniel and daughter Nancy, appearing to live next door. Eventually, only Franklin and Milton stay to tend the Miller family farm.
