About Our Family Research


My family has descended from Gudbandsdelen, Norway. Ole Moe b.1856, one of four children of Jacob and Kristiana Moe, immigated to LaCrosse, Wisconsin in 1880. Records compiled by Clara Moe Styve and Stella Bellingham Satern in "The Ole J. Moe Family" handbook is rich in colorful stories about the Moes. Our family is deeply indebted to their work. My intentions are to make this record available here to the generations of this family now and in the future.
