I am researching both my mother's and my father's sides of the family. The effort is not limited to direct ancestry; also included are relatives of direct ancestors and their descendants. How distant the relationship is allowed to get is not yet determined.

Make full use of the resources available. The Internet was made for genealogy! I found my mother's second cousin - a genealogy buff too - by an ancestor search. (Thanks for all the research data you gave me, Pat!)

I was born a Campbell of the eastern Ohio branch. I hope next year to attend my first family reunion in Wellsville OH. I've never been to such an event.
