My praternal ancestrial village is Hromos, Slovakia. During visits to Hromos in 2001 and 2002 I have found relatives living there. In Hromos the name is spelled MOJCHER. My search goes back to Matthew Mojcher and Anna Achim, my Great-great-grandparents, dates unknown, but births most likely during the 1820's. My Great-grandparents were Jozef Mojcher,1843-1906, and Anna Budzak, 1846-?. My Grandparents were Gregor Mojher,1876-1928, and Helena Scerbak, 1884-1921. Gregor and three siblings, Joseph, Teresa and Magdalena, immigrated to the United States.
Grandfather Gregor settled in Olyphant,PA where both my parents were born, Stephen "Steve" Mojher, 1912-1992, and Josephine Huray, 1919-xxxx.
