I am currently searching for the Allard's from Malone, New York and Washington State. I have been given information from my father. I have some dates. I am starting with Henry and Julia (Furness) Allard. Their children were Peter Thomas Allard, Agnes Allard, Edith Allard, John Allard, Loren Allard and Anna Allard. I know Henry was born in 3/31/1850 and died 3/10/1923. His son, Peter Thomas Allard died 9/19/1956 at the age of 76. Peter Thomas Allard lived in the state of Washington, in Tacoma or Seattle.
I also know that Henry's parents were James and Laura (Miller) Allard.
I have been told it is quite possible Allard is not the proper surname for our family. We believe James and Laura came from Canada and changed their name to the spelling of ALLARD.
