About Our Family Research


Joseph Miller came to Norfolk County Virginia about 1645 from England. He married Elizabeth Cheery, daughter of John Cheery. Some other surnames in my family line are Lockhart, Holstead, Manning, Woodard,and Jolliff. Some of the children of Joseph and Elizabeth are Benjamin, William, Edward and Joseph. I am trying to find Joseph Miller's father. Some records show that his father was also named Joseph in England.
