Looking for information on my father Frederick Payne .
Born 1/2/14 and died 10/03/80. Place of birth and parents unknown.He was placed in an orphanage at an early age.He was adopted by the Gillespie family of East Oakleigh .Melbourne.Aust.
He was married in 1941/42 to Minnie Amelia Muriel Chudleigh.in thw Methodist Church.Drummond Street Oakleigh,Victoria .
His WW2 service has him listed as a gunner VX101482
Where he originally came from or which orphanage he was in are still questions I need answers for.
