The Watson Family held its Y2K reunion, June 30-July 1, 2000.
Friday Night was the date of the Banquet, which was held at Lafluer's Resturant in Denham Springs, La. The feast consisted of Fried Seafood, Dessert and various drinks. Everything bite was a mouth watering event. A first for the reunion, this year we presented awards and certificates of recognition for graduates and effortless service to the reunion planning. Saturday Morning consisted of the church service, where the memorial service was a highlight to the service. The sermon given by our own cousin Edler Mac Albert Lee was very moving and uplifting to all in attendance. The final event took place on Saturday Afternoon, where we partied and played until 10:00 pm. There were fireworks for the children and adults alike. The much anticipated dance contest caused the most fun. Geraldine Bell White and Jim Lee took the first place award.
