I have been quite sucessful working on my family tree for both maternal and paternal sides of the family.Most of my research has been extracted from published genealogies and with the help of on line distant cousins. I have found researching my family roots has given me a renewed interest in my own history along with that of my country.I have hopes of tracing my husbands family in Ireland in the near future.I have found that this placement of oneself in a family tree, gives me a new perspective on my family.
