Samuel Mardis born 1839 married Mary Rinard in 1867. Had 4 children: Thomas 1868 Sarah 1870 who married Charles Bowser in 1890 Eve 1874 and Anthony 1877. Thomas Mardis married Mattie Christner born in 1869 they had 6 children: Samuel, Charles, Vern, Budd, Grace and Ruth. Charles Mardis married Sadie Rydner born in 1893 they had 2 children: James Russel Mardis born in 1916. Evelyn Mardis born in 1913. James and Irene Mardis had 1 son, Robert Wayne Mardis born in 1942 and married Helen Patricia Weimer in 1968. They had 4 children: Donna Lee Mardis 1969 James Russel Mardis 1970 Nancy Sue Mardis 1973 Robert Wayne Mardis Jr. 1976
