Hello, this family page is for all Eaborns, Whalleys, and related family including the Hardies and Bates families. I have been researching the history of my father's family - Ernest Price Eaborn born 31 March 1908 in Guilden Sutton, Chester. His family came from Kidderminster, and then from Wrexham in North Wales, where two Eaborn brothers married two sisters - the Bates girls Martha and Selina (my grandmother).
I'm also looking at the background of the Hardies, who came from Glasgow to Lancashire in the 1850's. My great-grandmother was Mary Hardie who married Joseph Whalley on 26 June 1883. One of her sons, William, was my grandfather, and all her children were named for siblings, starting a family tradition of Scots names such as Andrew, Margaret, and Janet.
All of my ancestors had members who emigrated to the USA, Canada, or Australia over the years - so if you have the same name you well may be related.
In addition my husband's family the Morgans have the Warnes, Middleton, and Doll families in their ancestry - from various parts of the UK and from South Africa.
