My grandfather was Willie Rector. He was born in 1913 in Tennessee. He had said that he was raised by an Aunt Sally until he hopped a train to Ohio when he was a teen. He married a Olive Burks in Tuscarawas County, Ohio. She died while giving birth to their only child ( Richard Rector ) . My grandfather ( Willie ) then married Julie Irene Smart. They had the following children : Norma Jean, Edward Eugene ( my Dad ) , Robert, Larry Wayne, Sorothy, Shirley, David, Beverly, ViolaFaye, Mary Carol , and Lori Alice. Since it was not mandatory to keep birth records in Tennessee for the year 1913, it is hard to trace who his parents were. And anything about sibblings he may have had.
In early lineage, I am puzzled about a Christopher Richter who was born in 1631 to Johannes Jacob Richter. Christopher married Anna Catheria Becker. Several sources give a list of 8 children they had. But There are several by the name Hans and Johannes. This info can not be correct. I would appreciate any insight on correct documentation on this.
