This home page is dedicated to my great-grandparents, Gerhard & Rebecka Pargmann, who came to the United States from Germany in 1897, and to Elsa Buesing Leister, without whose help this project would have taken much longer.

The Texas families are descended from Gerhard & Rebecka, Rebecka's brother Dietrich, and Gerhard's brother Friedrich.

Rebecka's surname prior to her marriage was also Pargmann, and I'm almost certain that somewhere in time there was one ancestor.
That is my next avenue of research.

The Pargmann's hold a reunion every year on the last Sunday in July, usually in the Nordheim; Runge; or Yorktown, Texas area.
