My research is concentrated on the Scottish side of my mother's family. Gordons from Galloway and Campbells from Fairfield Ayr. Both branches moved south to England and my Great Grandmother Lousia Maud Elphinstone Campbell married my great Grandfather Granville Dempster Gordon in 1893 in Fulham. Her great grandfather was William Campbell of Fairfield but I do not kno wwho her Grandfather was nor who her mother was. Granville Dempster Gordon grandfather was Alexander Gordon who married Harriet Elwin and I have deatails of the christening of many of their children although not William Gordon Granville's father who was briefly MP for Chelsea from 1874-1880. I do not know if Alexander Gordon was born in Scotland or England.
