Catalano is my mother's maiden name and I have been sending out a newsletter to my cousins who range from Europe(Italy and France); California, Washington State, Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and New York.
Everyone has been enjoying it and the younger members are getting to know some family history and making the acquaintance of other members.
Recently my cousin in France sent me a picture of my great-grandfather resplendent in uniform which I circulated. I had never seen a picture of him before. It was quite a thrill.
The newsletter started out with ten copies and now I'm making thirty with the additions of new members we've located.
