The Jack Morrison Family of Dallas/Ft Worth TX Updated November 9, 2000
About Our Family Research
Family reunions are now themselves history in our family, the last being over 40 years ago and attended by most of the family members of my father. His father had 13 children so the get-togethers were a very large gathering, a few not able to come or not willing to put out the effort. Most, if not all, of these brothers and sisters are now deceased. A smaller Morrison reunion of the area relatives is in the planning stages, hopfully to take place this year (2000). Date as yet unknown, my grandfather was born in Comanche TX and his mother, my Great Grandmother, was said to be American Indian. They then moved several times across Texas, looking like once per child. He and his wife are buried in, I think, Rosewood Cemetery on the Gulf Freeway between Houston and Galveston TX.
