Reasearch has been carried out by A. W. Morgan, Wayne, who now resides in Annapolis Royal, NS. George Morgan (middle 1700's) came to Nova Scotia with the British Army, extensive research has failed to obtain any early information of prior family ties. Subsequent family history is fairly detailed as the family resided in the Bear River, Annapolis Royal area and many of the family can be found in graveyards. Wayne has researched in Salt Lake City and England personally and has, as well engaged researchers when it was advantageous. Family Tree Maker tells me I have in excess of 4000 records. Wayne, my Brother uses a different computer program. I resided in Smith Cove, Digby County as a youth from 1933 to 1936. We have held a reunion of our Maternal side but (McGinnis) but there are few of us left on the Morgan side. I have not been engaged in any research, rather I am a parasite, leaving it to my brother who continues to research our history when time permits
