In a search of the past , I have found many remarkable family members. I continue this search in the hope that generations to come will find the same level of enjoyment that I have known. My family consists of the following names. Mowery, Stewart, Barber, Fannin, Adkins, Lybrook, Wallace, McCann, Day, McClannahan,Dawney, Burriss, Cox, Burkhardt,Kirk,Clay, Ball, Chafen, Griffith, Cordell and many more names. My search revolves around the ancesters of Joseph Mowery and, Rebecca Stewart. This Marriage took place in 1851 in Lawrence Co. Kentucky. Rebecca was the
daughter of Mitchell and Francis Stewart. The parents of Joseph have not been confirmed at this writing. I would be most happy to share anything that would assist any one in their search.
My Mothers side of our family is the Wallace, McCann, Dawney side . In recent Months, I have had a great deal of success with this endeavor. I had never hoped to find that material and, I am pleased beyond words for this success. Other names from my Mothers side are, Asher Cox, Jane McKensie, William B. McCann, Hannah Rose, Samuel Cox, Mary Mount, Rebecca Holmes, Joseph and Alice Dawney. It is like finding the other half of me and, I guess, that is the case.
