Parsell: In Michigan Gary is the son of Carl Louis Parsell (Tuscola Co. MI) and Myrtle Jeannette Van Guilder(Tuscola Co. MI).
Van Guilder: Myrtle Jeannette Van Guilder (Wajamega, Tuscola, Co. Mi) is the daughter of Roy Melvin Van Guilder (1875)(Wajamega) and Jessie Loretta Beecher(1879) (Vassar. OH). Roy is the son of Henry A Van Guilder(1841)(Niles, Cayuga Co., NY.) and Jennette Sherman (1845-1932)(OH). Henry purchased 40 acres near Wajamega after the Civil War. He was the son of Elisha Van Guilder(1793-1867)(Skaneateles, NY.) and Waite Bentley. Elisha worked construction on the Erie Cannal then settle to the work of stone mason and farmer near Niles, Cayuga Co, NY. This line of Van Guilder has been traced back to Garrit Van Guilder who was born in 1598. in Harderwijk, Holland. Mowry: Gerald Lemar Mowry (1926)(Hoxie, KS) is the son of Aubert Jackson Mowry (1893)(Graham Co. KS) and Luvena Katheryne Kiggins (1895)(Litchfield, Ill.) Aubert (A.J.) was a civil engineer for the Kansas Department of Transportation. A.J. Mowry was the son of Aubert Lamar Mowry (1874-1958)(Palermo, Doniphan Co. KS.) and Maude Estell Jeffery, (Chicago, Ill). Aubert L. married Maude on Jan 27th, 1892 in Morland, KS. Aubert L. was the son of Andrew Jackson Mowry (1833-1921)(Scott, NY.) and Almira Charity Brown. They married Nov 14, 1855. Andrew practiced law in Luceren KS.
Kiggins: Luvena Katheryne Kiggins was the daughter of John Franklin Kiggins (1870)(Montgomery Co. Ill.) and Mary Idella Gamble(1872)(Montgomery Co. IL.). John moved to western Kansas to farm. John was the son of Micheal Kiggins who came from Ireland and ___ Reynolds (an orphan who lived with her uncle the 4th governor of Ill.)
