JOHN & JANE FRASER in EARLY PA.

Updated March 17, 2002

About Our Family Research

This research started three years ago on a part tome basis. I had no idea how addictive it could become. I joined the Bedford Historical Society, which has been very helpful.

My research has taken me into the surrounding counties, a refresher course, and a new found respect for early history. It is mind boggling to think of the hardships the first pioneers endured, not even a bed and breakfast, McDonalds was not just down the street. In looking for the gravesite for John Fraser, I learned that the head stones were used for door stoops.

The Frazier Family Reunion (note the spelling change) is held the 2nd Sunday of June ( covered dish ) at Shanksville Grove, Shanksville, Pa.

John Frasers gggrand-daughter Margaret Diehl the last remaining
child of James & Lizzie Frazer just celebrated her 87th b-day. Should you want to contact her, or send her a card, feel free to contact me.

I will sincerely try to up-date this site frequently, am willing to share any or all information

Jonie O'Brien Mruk, child of Theah Alice Frazier & Alonzo Lee O'Brien, from Bedford, Pa.
