I am the founder and president of the registered Mueggenburg society of Germany, established in summer 2007. We have about 65 members, mostly from Germany, some from Austria, Swizerland, Mexico und 4 from USA. www.mueggenburg-verein.de
I wrote a book – in German – about today`s and former villages, buildings, streets, bounds etc. named "Mueggenburg". This book has 280 pages. In it you can also read about 15 interpretations, what Mueggenburg could mean.
We investigate in Germany to all persons named Mueggenburg, Muggenburg, Moggenburg, Moeggenburg, Moegenburg and M...berg, M...borg. Meanwhile we habe about 50 genealogical trees with 5000 names.
