I started my reasearch into my family tree as a curiousity, but is has become an obsession. An adventure that has opened up many wonderul new things to me. Through numerous hours of internet reasearch and phone calls I have found a large part of my family's history back 6 generations. I hope that through this web page I can expand the list of generations even more. Anyone with any information is more then welcome to contact me.
I would like to thank my cousin, Lori Botts, Illinois, for the information she gave me that has helped me to get this far. Also, more cousins John C. Rohde and Tom Scowles. It is wonderful to find the family connections you had no idea existed. The surnames listed include mostly my father's side of the family. It is along way from being completed, but my hopes are that I will get further information from someone who recognizes one or more of the names. I would like to add siblings of all those listed soon. I will also be adding pictures so any you may have would be appreciated. There is also a list of all of my husband's family. My hope is to make as complete a family tree as possible for my children. Due to adding both families together these are all the surnames you will find on the tree: Gallup, Woodruff, Rohde, Radke, Benedict, Dudley, Nelson, and Sewell: my family. Mugan, Stewart, Johnson, Sampson, Munn, and Adams: for my husband's Family. It is a wonderful feeling a person gets when their history opens up in front of them.
