I've been researching my CASE, CRANDALL, EDINGER, and WHITE lines for over 10 years. In my CRANDALL search I've been lucky to find most of my line researched and documented clear back to Elder John CRANDALL. However, the other three lines have been a complete brick wall so far.
Recently I had some serious computer problems. Unfortunately, the list of data I gave the tech to save wasn't followed to the letter, resulting in losing my entire database on the FTM software. I had a back up, but for some reason it doesn't want to work now. So I'm at the mercy of Ancestry.com, where I had submitted my family tree some time ago.
Genealogy hasn't been a passion with me, but I keep at it in spits and spurts. Perhaps having so many dead ends has discouraged me once too often, I'm not sure. However, I haven't given up on finding those elusive ancestors. I know the information is out there somewhere, I just haven't looked in the right place.
I've just started this site, and I hope you'll come back often to see what I've added and changed. I probably won't be able to do much until after the holidays. You'll understand that I'm sure.
