BIOGRAPHY: Samuel Driggs, son of Urial Driggs and Hannah Ford, was born February 17, 1820, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. He immigrated to Utah in 1850 and settled in Kaysville, Davis County. He helped to build the first schoolhouse in Kaysville. He also helped to make the roads, bridges and canals. He was a school trustee and water master. He held the ecclesiastical office of Seventy.
He died, true to the faith and respected by all who knew him, January 16, 1864. We suppose by the above notes that the family joined the Church about 1838.
