Additional Information can be found on FHL Film #0000320. See also Hannahette Snively Pratt. The Church also has interesting stories about Hannahette Snively Pratt and Susannah Snively Young in the "Utah Pioneers Collection".
The Snively history is really quite interesting. Hannahette & Susannah were in Nauvoo, Hancock, IL during the period of the anti-Mormon movement. Hannahette married Parley Pratt and Susannah married Brigham Young. The family Of Isaac YocumGriffitts, also lived in Hancock during that period. Isaac was about 12 years of age when he supposedly testified against the men who assassinated Joseph Smith. The judge threw out Isaac's testimony. Isaac's uncle, Silas Griffitts served as a member of the jury. Isaac's cousin, Thomas Box Griffitts was a member of the Carthage Grays - the Grays were guarding Joseph Smith at the time of the attack. Laura Scott Campbell (lcampbel@pacbell.net)
