The Musselwhite Clan Dates back to the early 1600s in America starting with John Musselwhite who came By way of Langford England in 1635 andbecame a freeman at Ipswick Mass, 1639. Records show that he went south and settled around what is now known as Lumberton N.C. John Married a Mary , daughter of William Levit, of Messing, She died about 1685 , leaving issue , one of whom was Nathan White. Some went west ! I Personally am from Saltville Va. I have met Musselwhites as far west as Oregon. Fla, Miss. Ala. Ga. N & S Carolina and other places that I cannot recall. I Think my great Grandfather was Worley Musselwhite, and I found a tombstone in Saltville dating back further than Worley, It listed a John Wesley Musselwhite, B Sept 27 1752- D4 25 1817 My Grandfathers Name was William King Musselwhite who married May Elizabeth Taylor.
