My name is Sheila Kay McComas Music and my quest for information regarding my ancestry began when I was 12 years old in Logan, WV. My mother, Mary Lou Wilson McComas and I became members of our local geneological society and started tracing our roots. This was a time when the only way to do so was by researching birth, death and marriage records at local court houses, searching through hundreds of old cemetary's, talking to the oldest members of your family and reading old family bibles.
