About Our Family Research

My family line that I am researching are as follows:
Natale/Claps, Natale/Fusco is an adopted name, trying to locate the family who adopted my great grandmother from St. Dominick's Home/Orphanage in Blauvelt,Rockland Co, NY; the Fusco family supposedly operated a grocery in NYC who adopted my gr grandmother Antoinette. All the above, I believe originated in Southern Italy (the Natales' possibly in Naples; the Claps definately in Avigliano; Fusco was my grandmother's adopted name so I need that families help to trace her line.
Next line is Williams/Cargain which I had the good fortune of finding a women who had a Genbook on my family and shared that info with me. That wonderful genbook got me back to just abt 1776 for my Williams'. They are from Putnam County New York; My Williams/Lickleys', the Lickleys' I have also had the great fortune to find many cyber-kinsman sharing there pieces to the Lickley puzzle. My Lickleys' were from Putnam County New York. Now either they landed from say "aberdeen, scotland/the infamous John Lickley" and I guess either settled in Putnam Co., NY for a time before heading west and settling in Michigan? Just my speculation until I get the whole story from some of my cyber-kin. Interesting.
And the Cargains', who are also from Putnam County New York area. I only go back to my great great grandfather Noah Cargain.
It is probably the name change thing. Carigan, ect...
Then we have Cargain/Fisher, now that is where I can really get back the Fishers' and the Lees' mix it up and wow.And that information was a gift from a distant kinsman/author, thank you. Anyway, I was surfing the LDS site and someone has Mary Cole in all this mess and an LDS link has her back to Bible times-I know that is far-far fetched but I was surfing back through Kings of Scotland and Kings of this, who knows-maybe, it was interesting.
Now Back to reality.
Now that pretty much goes for my side (1/2 italians and the other ? Scotch, Irish, English, Dutch? )
My married side is Bundy/Spalding.
The Bundys' from Dutchess Co., NY and on back to say an orphanage in the Carolina's ? (that's one story), I have to get ole grandpa's birth certificate-Leslie Leroy Bundy. The Bundys' may have originated in Dublin. Leslie Bundy (male's name) married into the Waldron line which is I guess from Dutchess Co., NY.
The Bundy/Spalding: Spaldings'were from the Tri-State area possibly NJ. Then there is Spalding/Brennan line (same tri-state area thing?)
Another biggie I am looking for separate from my direct line is the Bettchers'from Brewster, Putnam Co., NY and on back to whereever they originated from. Possibly looking for a Maxwell Bettcher or one of those name change things with Bettcher. I am thinking German or I really don't know.
That sorta covers it/kinda confusing but "hey" thanks for looking :o)
